Agree with last reviewer, this was a great B&B to stay in this area. Lynda had previously emailed a lot of information and sighseeing options, which we found extremely useful. The hospitality was exceptional, and the breakfast was delicous.. The house is charming, right on the water, with nice gardens, and a short drive to the national park.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews after a holiday but Pelican Bay B&B does deserve a special mention, thanks to the hospitality of the wonderful hosts Lynda and Graeme. It was the best out of the five B&B we stayed at during our 2-week trip in Tasmania in February 2012. Pelican Bay B&B is located at a perfect... More

We were visiting Tasmania for 2 weeks and wanted to visit Freycinet and do some walks. The lodges seemed expensive and had mixed reviews, and we saw this B&B was well rated. We emailed and got good responses, so we booked. We were not disappointed. The hospitality from Linda and Graeme was exceptional, this is what marks this apart !... More

Lynda & Graham could not have made us feel more welcome, nor could have been chattier or more helpful. Charming location, peaceful and within minutes of the National Park. We would definitely come back and see them. A home from home.

We've stayed in 13 different locations during our trip, going from self-contained cottage to well qualified hotels. Pelican Bay B&B was without any doubt the best place amongst all. Warm and friendly reception, excellent service, beautiful site, Lynda and Graeme allways ready for their guests, this is really the place to be in Tasmania, we cannot but recommend! Willy and... This was one of the best B&Bs we stayed at, and was certainly the highlight of our trip! We stayed there for 2 nights in December 2011, and Lynda and Graeme were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home immediately. They were warm and hospitable, and Lynda's breakfasts were amazing. I had the mushrooms for both mornings, while... More

this is a great spot - if you enjoy spending time in the garden (that fronts on to the bay), then you will love staying here. We had dinner in the garden every nights. We had lots of room to spread out in the guest area and were able to relax in between walks and exploring. Our hosts were lovely... More

This place is one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Lynda and Graeme are excellent hosts, the breakfasts are wonderful and the suggestions of places to see are excellent. The park is fabulous for exploring and the nearby restaurants were very good. The property is beautifully situated on the bay and there are sitting areas available to just enjoy... More

The only negative aspect is the fact that Pelican Bay is so far from our home in Germany. We spent three nights with Lynda and Graeme and staying with them felt like home in every way. The house is cozy and comfortable, the gardens are beautiful, the location is perfect if you want to explore the Freycinet Peninsula and the... More

Our 3-day stay last november at Pelican Bay was very enjoyable, and we fully endorse all the glowing comments from earlier reviewers. A great location in a beautiful part of Tasmania, at a reasonable price, Lynda, and Graeme, were so helpful, welcoming us into their home and pointing us in the direction of the best places to see, where to...
