The property is nice but admittedly needs a freshen up. The property has a lot of old charm and the bed was comfortable enough. It's nice having your own space and not feeling cramped. We stayed here as an alternate option to staying in Devonport and were happy with the location as we were travelling by car which gave us... More

I wanted to stay near Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The Luciada B&B is about 10km away and easy access on the freeway. It is a real delight. I loved the old style feel to the place, the reception area doesn't really work but the rooms are huge and really comfortable. The lady who seems to run things,... More

I work in Latrobe frequently but usually stay in a townhouse. On this occasion accommodation wasn't available for 2 nights so I was put up at the Lucinda B&B.I looked up the price later and it was $145 for the spa suite that I had. That is pretty good value in Tasmania. You do get a cooked breakfast in the morning. The room... More

This was our final B&B for our 10-day stay in Tasmania. It is located off the road leading from the main highway roundabout and the village of Latrobe. You drive up this narrow driveway and there you are at this old mansion. All rooms are on the second story and there is no lift/elevator, so there is a restriction to... More

Close enough to Cradle Mountain, stunning Devonport and witha few charms of its own (Visit the Antique store is a MUST: not antiques only but everything imaginative, creative and glorious) this B and B is lovely inside and out. It is beautifully restored and the rooms are extremely pretty and Victorian. Perfect for a romantic couple or a solo traveller... More

This imposing Victorian mansion set in four acres of hillside parkland was built in 1891 as a private residence for Dr. William Stewart. Today it's a B&B. Despite its grand exterior the Lucinda B&B is not quite as opulent as you might expect inside. The reception area is similar to a motel and the breakfast was nothing special. But our... More
