Rather than the usual rush up the Pacific Highway on the summer holiday, we decided to go via New England where we had historic family connections that we thought it would be good to share with our young daughter. Hard to believe what others have written. I've stayed here on and off for about 8 years and can only recommend it. How someone could arrive expecting to milk cows when it's not a dairy farm is a mystery to me. Went with my sons for a farmstay thinking they might learn some farm things. The only thing they got close to was chickens, smelly dogs and cranky old horses. Didn't get to see cows milked or ride a quad bike - NOTHING!!!!!!!!! The bath that was advertised was more the bottom of a shower???? Not 5 star more 3 if... More
