Sound did travel between rooms but not a huge issue if you have kids who rise at the crack of dawn too! A charming hotel built in the early 20th Century and well refurbished. We stayed in a classic room with its own ensuite. Everything was as expected and quite well done. The meals were delicious and whole ambience is cosy. The bar meals are very reasonably priced, the dining room is more 'up-market'.
