Jenolan caves was absolutely wonderful it was one of my best experiences and I'd definately come back again. The staff were lovely, I enjoyed the service in the restaurant and loved the cheerful and happy house keepers. :) Don't believe every thing you read try it for yourself.

My wife and I were very excited about our stay at the Jenolan caves and after a four hour drive to arrive at our room to find hair in the bed and also in a pile on the bathroom floor wasn't acceptable so we asked to change rooms so we arrived at the next and "surprise surprise" we were greeted... This review has been written despite the claims being investigated and found to be inaccurate. This reviewer was found to have used the bathroom facilities and beds in each of the rooms before claiming that they were dirty. The one room claimed to be occupied by another guest is not accurate as this room was in final stages of preperation... More

I stayed here with my friend for one night in April over Anzac day weekend. We are both around the 30 years old mark and our visit was part of a road trip around the Blue Mountains district. When we arrived we were gobsmacked, The entrance through the cave archway is spectacular and the area around Caves House is so... More

It was with some trepidation that we booked to stay at Caves House for two nights after reading some of the reviews, but we took a chance and we are so glad that we did. I have stayed many times at Caves House over the years and it has hardly changed its character over a 60+ year lifetime. Yes, the... More

We purchased a deal including accommodation for 2 Nights, full breakfast and entry to the Nettles cave. We chose the Mountain Lodge because it has ensuite bathrooms. The rooms are similar to motel rooms but have a small kitchenette including sink, microwave and kettle. The decor is about 10 years old and in need of renovation, however the bed was... More

We stayed at Caves House for one night to attend the cello concert in the Caves. The concert was beautiful and well worth attending, I would recommend this to anyone. The Caves themselves are absolutely amazing, so beautiful and the guides we had were enthusiastic, full of knowledge and happy to answer lots of questions. Unfortunately, the guest house was... More

I bought a voucher for my husband and I to have 1 nights stay at Jenolan Caves House. This included breakfast and a tour of the caves. It was great value at $315 for the two of us. The road in certainly isn't for the faint hearted so take care. Our room was lovely and the bathroom was clean. Yes,... More

My family and I stayed here after driving from dubbo, the caves were absolutly amazing and I cannot wait to go back and venture through the plug hole challenge!! Unfortunately my room (218)was tired and a little out dated. The Chisholm's restaraunt staff were very welcoming but unfortunately the older French women was and rude also rude toward her staff... We just spent three nights at Jenolan Caves House. Such a pity that the staff are untrained and place is not well maintained. It must be years since the windows have been cleaned! Our classic room was pleasant, but near the boiler room and quite noisy. The most annoying part was returning after a long walk and ready to collapse,... More

Stayed for 2 nights in March. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I must be honest, this hotel is in need of a little TLC. I called & e-mailed ahead requesting a good room allocation but the Classic room that we ended up in looked nothing like the 1 in the picture on wotif! Our room, on the 3rd... More
