Agree with most other reviews, this is definately not a resort. Its a good, clean and tidy basic motel. Rooms are average size but the one I was in was comfortable and warm. Hosts were very pleasant and welcoming and cooked a great breakfast. Unfortunately Restaurant wasn't open on the Sunday and Monday nights I was there so had some... More

We booked via the internet, after seeing their brochure. What a disapointment. This is not a 4 star establishment! The room was OK and was clean, and everything worked, but outside our door there was a "sandbox" full of old cigarette stompies. The indoor heated pool was not working and the overall impression was that the hotel was run down.... More

We stayed at the resort for the weekend of 3rd- 5th February 2012 and found the resort services to be excellent. The service supplied was above our expectations, considering that it was a full house, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The meals supplied were above expectations. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definaetly stay... More

We picked up a leaflet at one of the information centres, which described a luxurious retreat in landscaped gardens with an on-site restaurant and BBQ. It is not. It's a basic motel. Yes, there's a small indoor swimming pool, but the tennis court was covered in leaves, the BBQ was out of action and the restaurant/bar was closed in the... More

We were a group of ten seniors staying for the first time at the Red Leaf Resort (due to the location next to Blackheath Golf Club). On checking in at different times during our day of arrival some were asked if they would be dining and said they were not sure. Others were not asked. At around 6-00pm I spoke... More

Last Sunday at about 8:45pm , my husband and myself arrived at the Redleaf Resort. There was no sign saying no vacancies but when we asked for a room they said none were made up and that they had a hard day as they had a two golf groups over the weekend. They said they were the relief manager and... More

I stayed at Redleaf one night. I had booked three rooms for my family. All the 3 rooms were clean, spacious and welcoming. The bathrooms were very small and had not been updated in many years. The hotel is located away from the main highway so very quiet, everyone enjoyed a good night's sleep. As the restaurant was closed we walked... More

Last weekend we have decided to have a short break and head off to Blue Mountains. Most of the hotels in Katoomba were booked out, so Blackheath was the next choice (10 km from Katoomba). We have picked Redleaf Resort, it's little bit out of the village so car is essential. Place is well kept, we had a room for 3,... More

Our first morning in the restaurtant for breakfast was very slow, after finally being seated we found the buffet mostly empty and no one seemed too eager to fill it even with several other people entering after us. Our towels were left on the floor for the cleaning staff to collect and replace with fresh ones, as stated to do... More

22 members of our quilt group selected Redleaf for the 2nd year as the venue for our quitling retreat in September 2011. A fun time was had by all. The managers were pleasant and friendly and very supportive of all our needs. We used the conference rooms for sewing from morning to night - with all the facilities and lighting... More
