We've been to the place last weekend, 25-27 Apr 2013, for our Youth Weekend Away. The place is so clean and nice. The service is very welcoming. Swimming pool is a bit smaller than the website picture, but well heated for the kids. It's an enjoyable stay for us. It's quite, peaceful and refreshing.

We stayed only one night but had a wonderful time at this incredible bushland property with a difference. Not wanting just another hotel, we decided to try these self contained cabins. They are in a quiet bushland setting with lots of room and plenty of outdoor activities to keep the kids happy. It has been well thought out and although... More

Just back from a family gathering at the Blue Mountains. Many family members stayed at Federation Gardens. Really suited our needs; not expensive, clean, neat and tidy cabins. Excellent service, we were made to feel most welcome.

A great idea, but loses something in the execution. We stayed over Easter in a 2-bedroom Linden cottage. The gardens and facilities are very good (particularly if we had children) and the cottage was good. There are some lovely touches, such as big windows, skylights, verandahs, fancy cornices and some old-style light switches. You can't help think that they ran... More

We stayed for 2 nights; Saturday and Sunday, wish we had of stayed the Friday night too. The possums cabin (3) was off the ground, we looked out or windows and had a beautiful view. We lit the woodfire and layed in bed, it was very relaxing. There are a few tracks that are not far, we walked the Govetts... More

This my favourite place hands down to stay at in the blue mountains, by far , and one of my favourite spots to go for a romantic getaway in NSW. In winter its so cosy with the log fire burning and your own private spa, the treehouses are have everything you need and the place even has an octagonal glass... More

My husband and I rented a 2- bedroom cottage for two nights, and stayed with a friend and our 7 month old baby. The setting is lovely, though quite far (10 mins driving) from any shops or restaurants. However the town Blackheath is very cute, with plenty of interesting shops and good quality cafes and eateries, so if you dont mind... We had 3 nights here at a discount from holiday auctions, so not quite sure of the real price. We stayed in a Possum's cabin which is a hexagonal shaped separate cabin with a log fireplace opposite the bed and a 2-person spa bath. Breakfast provisions were provided as was firewood.Large windows with bush views are spectacular. On the verandah... More

We spent our 5 year wedding anniversary in one of the possum hideaway cabins and we couldn't have picked a better place. We were welcomed by a happy friendly face at reception and supplied with a map of the grounds as well as the nearby lookouts and walking trails. Our cabin was delightful and equipped with everything we needed for... More

We go out to the mountains frequently for short breaks to recharge and have up tillnow in quote fancy expensive resorts wich accomodate motel style rooms. Itsuited us fine while we were a couple , but now with a nine year old and usually another family accompanying us , it is not sufficient especially when the weather is bad and... More
