Stayed for just 1 night and found rooms very comfortable and a well designed motel room. The back door opened into a small patio/garden area which was very restful and pleasant. There was some noise from the highway but seemed fairly quiet from 11pm onwards to early morning.

We stayed as a couple March 16 and Blackheath was its cold and wet miserable self. I know because I used to live here! The Motor Inn was warm, service was good and cheerful and the beds were very comfortable. Yes, we did have a room facing the highway BUT the noise of trains and trucks was minimal compared to... I stayed here for 2 nights with significant other. We had a lovely time -- the owner was friendly and helped us with dinner reservations, tramp planning (even photo copying trail guide pages for us to take with us). The location is perfect if you want to either take the train to other cities or just hang out in Blackheath,... More

On the main road so rooms at the front could be a bit noisy, we were at the back and had no problem. Good sized and nicely furnished room. Clean and very comfortable. Easy walk to restaurants and shops in Blackheath.

I've been a return visitor to this motel, since 2004. I'll be going back for the mediaeval festival in April this year. I've found the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean. If there are problems they are sorted out promptly when the managers are told. There is one other motel, and one botique motel in Blackheath both... More

Location : The motel is located right on the Great Western Highway within walking distance from the Blackheath market area where there are several restaurants and delis. FREE PARKING INCLUDED (Obviously since its a motor inn) Rooms : What I loved the most is that the rooms were dark wood panelled and it felt very warm and cosy. In addition... More

at first this place seemed nice and the staff very friendly, willing to do anything for us. Once inside the room I found it to be cramped, dank, mouldy in some parts and quite loud. Noise was a major issue for me as it is located adjacent to the main highway and main trainline which resulted in semi trucks and... More

Dear cosi555, Thank you for your recent review ,but it is shame you chose to omit several facts in the account of your stay. When phoning to book, you requested a DOUBLE room with a view and were advised that only Deluxe rooms or the Spa Suite were looking onto the gardens, the Standard rooms that had that outlook were... The good things: large room, rustic look, plenty coffee, sugar, tea and milk, plenty of clean towels, small and uncrowded motel. The bad things: Incredibly noisy room (trucks all night, and trains with horns) (even ear plugs aren't enough); bit dark and dingy; single bed smelt musty like it hadn't been changed in months; there was a towel covering the... I was surprised by all the positive reviews on here because my husband and I did not think this place was THAT great by any means. When we arrived the man at reception seemed a bit rushed but was friendly. The rooms are outdated but they are spacious and also have upgraded TVs. The sheets ---- NEED to be changed.... More

We were happy at the Blackheath Motor Inn for the one night we spent here as a family. While the room wasn't all that large, it did have a bit more character than the usual motel room. We also felt the bed was more comfortable than most. My only real complaint was the traffic noise - being right on the... More
