You are truly one with nature in this open air casa. Expect a bit of a climb to get to the house, but the view is certainly worth it. We were there with our adult children and their spouses. Caretaker Felipe and his wife Yanet were especially helpful, arranging snorkeling and preparing meals for us at a very reasonable cost.... More

Casa Coco was a perfect fit for me and my traveling companions. Off the beaten path (literally), the house is a hidden treasure in the hills of Yelapa. The house is colorful, airy, and well maintained by a wonderful local couple who met our every need while staying there. The kitchen is well equipped and we were pleased to be... More

What a beautiful way to experience true Mexico. Yelapa is a rare find … and Casa Coco is the place to stay. This casa is set in the mountains overlooking the ocean. The photos on the web site are authentic and true to what you will find. It is beautiful, well maintained, the landscaping is fabulous. While you are puttering... More

We stayed at Casa Coco in mid-November and had just the most amazing time. The views are truly spectacular from the house and the decor inside was tasteful and comfortable. The owners really thought well through every detail. This vacation home had more kitchen gadgets than you can dream of. We did not mind the hike back up to the... More

The rail-less stairs to Coco's second floor takes some skill to master. This was our third trip to Yelapa in the last five years. The town has not aged gracefully, from shabbily sheik to filthy and shady. There are four cops here now, when once there were none; they're needed. Big piles of rubbish on the shorelines, groups of kids... More

it is my third trip and each time gets better than the previous, the beauty of the surrounding, flowers every where, the panoramic views, the early morning dolphins and whales jumping in and out of the water, the tranquility and peacefulness, the birds singing, the resplendence of the multitude of colors, the taste of the various local food and let... The owners of this establishment are completely inflexible. I made a reservation from New York only a week before I was to travel. I was staying elsewhere on the island, and the day before I was supposed to check in, I went to see the facility. No where on the website does it say that you must climb straight up... More

This was our second visit to Yelapa, and our first to Casa Cabana. What a treat! My husband and I highly recommend this casa. We were expecting a palapa, but it was so much more. While the pictures on this website are beautiful, they do not do the place justice. The casa was just beautiful, both inside and out. We... More

It was everything we could have wished for: the mornings sitting on the upstairs balcony having coffee were just amazing, so peaceful and lush and generally fabulous. I wanted to tell you what a nice surprise it was to find that every chair in the place was really comfortable. Might seem like an odd comment but I have a sore... More

Casa Coco is a delightful open-air house perched on a hill overlooking the Bahia de Banderas in Yelapa, Mexico. It is a charming, simple house but has all you need -- and the view is unbelieveable. It's rustic and far from civilization, cars, cities, consumerism -- but that's why you go to Yelapa. The caretaker, Felipe, and his wife, Yanet,... More
