We stayed in the cute little cottage attached to the pub, and so just 10 steps away from a fab eating and drinking den. The cottage and pub are stylish in a contemporary country way with a rustic, well worn feel, and comfort is a main priority. The sense of humour on various items, and among the staff made us...

I had a super saturday lunch recently at The Horse Guards. Delicious food, creative decor, attentive staff etc BUT definitely not very keen on our children. We were under the impression that we would be v welcome but this was not the case. We came with another family so 4 adults and 4 kids in total. Kids ranged from 2-6...

I took my girlfriend for a night's stay at the Horse Guards recently. We paid £80 for a double room in the pub and also spent an enjoyable evening there for dinner. The staff are very friendly and efficient, the room was quirky, stylish and comfortable and the food, although not exactly inexpensive, was very good indeed. If you're in...

We were on the way to our hotel for the weekend in Midhurst when we came across The Horse Guards Inn in thick fog, opposite a little church in Tillington

Then whilst you are there you need to try the food one of the best meals I have had in 2011. But most of all the service you...

Having reviewed the menu, we both ordered a sirloin steak sandwich, at a price of £11.00. At the supposed level of quality of this establishment, the portion was small. Two slices of tough beef, with two thin, small, slices of bread, a poor garnish and handfull of crinkle cut crisps. We were expecting something special as the reviews are generally...

Stayed here for a wedding. Room perfect, views from window stunnig. Staff friendly and obliging. Garden with chickens and quirky garden notices. Would definately stay again, if in the vicinity.

My son and his fiancee are getting married at Tillington inSeptember and so we were there one sunny Sunday to hear the reading of the banns. Went for a pub lunch opposite and were charmed by the garden, which is really quirky and not the usual pub garden at all. Food was excellent and service friendly and helpful.
