Only stayed one night for a local party, but we were made more than welcome by the very friendly hosts. Room very comfortable and beautifully presented as was a delicious breakfast. Everything has that little bit extra, like the homemade marmalade at breakfast and Apple & Rhubarb juice. A very enjoyable stay, would recommend highly.

The location was good, however the place was freezing when we arrived and the owner was extremely rude. It is also not suitable for children due to the steep staircase and close proximity to a busy road. Did not leave this place happy whatsoever, owners attitude nearly ruined my wedding.

I have been staying frequently since 2007, staying once every 3 weeks on average. Since my first visit I have been bowled over by Roy and Carol's hospitality, warmth and humour.
