The Navigator is a good value B&B.Our double room was clean if basic only downside was they use blankets no duvet. Breakfast was first class. The staff were brilliant helpful and funny. The pub was the best we tried in the area and the locals friendly.

The Navigator Hotel is a no frills hotel but what it does it does very well. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. My single room was well cleaned and attended to by the staff, the towels were clean and there was plenty of shampoo/gel available. I thought this was pretty good value. Don't be put off by the 'pub' appearance of the front entrance which opens on the bar. The place is decorated with sailing paraphernalia and is not meant to be clinically white and clean. The place is not luxurious but it is also not unpleasant. Dont think The Navigator should have advertised itself as a hotel, afraid to talk, laugh or watch telly in our room after 9pm. The sign attached says it all.

Good value for money - clean as a pin, typical English B and B - was a pity that we weren't able to get a sea view as that would have been great. Friendly atmosphere in busy bar on the Friday evening. Breakfast was good - overlooking the sea and fresh coffee.
