The Bell resides in a lovely village with a friendly atmosphere, excellent food and really comfortable stay. Happily recommend to anyone looking for a nice break or staying on business in the area. Diverse menu, excellent beer selection.

Bought a groupon voucher to try out the food which has a supposedly great reputation. After several attempts to book, the manager refused to accomodate us except weekday lunch times, which we we cannot do due to work commitments, his attitude was down right rude, arrogant and uninterested in new customers. Left dumb founded.

Having booked a room one week ago & asked for an email confirmation (I asked three times before receiving it), I was told that I did not have the room I booked & I would HAVE to change rooms. Suffice to say I will not be staying if the basics cannot be got right.

My friend and I have just had a lovely weekend at The Bell. The staff were very friendly and all our requests were met without any hassle.
