I stopped for a week whilst on a course and it was great. The staff are very helpful and chatty. The food should be on masterchef and the beer is excellent. I like like a good pint and the IPA is a good move there. I would definately stay here again with out question.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the White Bear a few months ago. Being right in the centre of Shipston it was ideally situtated for strolling around the town. We received a very warm welcome from the staff. Our accommodation had recently been refurbished and was very nicely decorated. Tea making facilities were available in the room together with... More

In mid Sept. we stayed at the White Bear and their sister Pub The Falcon. The service and food we experienced equalled the clean, spaceous and well appointed accomodations, extremelly satisfying. All three of these subjects were second only to the attentiveness and friendlyness of the owners Nic and Mark. The weekend was topped off by the friends and patrons... More

Great location for us, gorgeous character building, very friendly staff, nice clean comfortable rooms - excellent breakfast! perfect for our one night stay. We were on the top floor and loved it but some people may struggle with the steep stairs. Not a problem for us though and our family included a 7 yr old and 77 yr old!

We received a very friendly welcome when we arrived on the Saturday lunchtime. The menu was varied and we rated the food very highly. We booked 3 rooms between 10 of us, taking both family rooms and a top floor room into which we were able to bring our own camp bed. They even accommodated pet mice for my sister... More
