I stayed at the Travelodge Bedworth and Nuneaton on the A444. in January 2012. I was greeted warmly on reception and showed to my room. The room was large, clean and warm even without the wall mounted heater being switched on as the temperatures were below freezing outside. The double bed was very comfortable and the shower systen was easy... More

Hot water was flaky, couldn't shower(!) The whole place was dated and not the most clean. The post code on the website took us to the end of industrial estate inhabited by a large group of kids and their cars which was slightly intimidating and off putting to say the least! The heater had been left on in the room... More

I stayed here over a motorcycle skills day at Mallory Park, for which it is convenient. Helpful staff. Clean warm room and bathroom. Everything worked. What one expects from a Travelodge, and this is a reasonable example of one. The postcode is still wrong - approach it from the main road and petrol station. Good for its price of less... More

Having served in the army for 6 years in the 1970's I thought I had seen the worst that accommodation can offer. Welcome to the austerity that is Nuneaton Bedworth Travelodge. Problems; - The directions on the Travelodge website take you to an industrial estate where the road through to the hotel closed about 10 years ago. Cue a very... More

This hotel reminded me a little bit of the days when I travelled around the Soviet Union in the 1980s. It was clean but everything about it was dated: the carpet, the bed (lumpy and plain covers, but comfortable), furnishings, bathroom and corridors. The breakfast in a bag consisted of 1 croissant; sweet muffin, orange juice - OK if you... More

Standard Travelodge room, better maintained and cleaned than most Travelodges. But very annoying to find £3 parking charge at a location where you have to use your car. Any honest business would include this in the room price. For eating we enjoyed the Wing Wah "all you can eat" Chinese Buffet in Nuneaton. ( East of bus station)

Not sure If I've found 2 Travelodges that charge for parking or if all of them do now but this is wrong, the Hotel is not near anything. This is a roadside lodge in a remote location so why do Travelodge think its acceptable to charge for parking? What next... £1 for a door key, £2 for Hot Water, a... More

The whole experience at the hotel leaves you thinking that they are trying to save spending money on upkeep and running, while maximising revenue. When you arrive have £3 ready for the parking. The hotel is not near a town centre, or place where non Travelodge customers would want to park. It therefore looks as if this is just a... More

Would have been easy enough to find if they had mentioned that the BP garage in front of it has actually been bulldozed! Despite the fact that the place was like the Marie Celeste when we arrived, the 'jobsworth' on reception wanted to charge us an extra £10 to book in an hour early. He then wanted to charge us... We had a cracking deal here, £26 for a night which was fab. Hotel is hidden behind a petrol station which is odd, but it felt safe and quiet. No one around on reception, but we had key to main door as we were out late visiting friends. Room okay. Bed had dreadful 'roll together', probably worst ever experienced, but... More
