Hotel rooms are basic and a little tatty but couldn't fault them for cleanliness. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast freshly cooked and very nice. A good overnight place to stay

Pleasant staff, very relaxed atmosphere and clean tidy room. Breakfast was sufficient - cooked on request. For some reason the bar was closed by the time I returned at 8:45pm, which I though was a bit odd. The bathroom was a little on the small side but just about ample enough for sole occupancy.

Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was v good. Unfortunately the room was terrible for the price of 95 quid, more like a better hostel. Would go if a lot cheaper but they could spend a bit on rooms at least to make it better.

Nice peaceful location, not too far away from the town centre - about 10 minute drive. Rooms were nice and clean, and the bed was really comfortable! Breakfast was delicious too, we had full cooked English breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying there.

I stayed at Thatched House Hotel during the week, the staff are very friendly, the room was a little dated, but adequate, I would definately go back there.

Reception. Staff were friendly and whilst they weren't tested, you felt they would have been up to tasks if asked. A bit casual in dress and approach. Good display of tourist brochures, etc.. This is a decent hotel. It can be a bit basic, but it is comfortable with friendly staff. Do be warned that they don't open the bar or restaurant at the weekend.
