I use the Chase lodge frequently and consider it the most delightful and charming place to relax. I look forward to the surprise element of having a different room on each occasion. Cant now make my mind up which of these wonderful rooms I like best. I look forward to my next surprise. Thank you for the wonderful experiences. Cecilie... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We are very happy to support our local charity, The Downs Syndrome Association and they are some of the brightest, kindest and most charming guests we have ever had to stay. Ms. Mackinnon is a regular visitor and one that we are always happy to see. Kind thoughts and huge respect from... More

This is a lovely hotel with friendly welcoming staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I stayed here for one night before having an interview in nearby Kingston (14/5/2012). When i booked the room I mentioned I was going to have an interview. Not only did the owner wish me luck in my confirmation email I... More

Thank you for leaving such a kind review - and for highlighting that extra service that you do find in a small, independent hotel, as opposed to the mass-market corporate chains. At Chase Lodge, we are all genuine, caring human beings who do our utmost to make our guests feel welcome, so to have that appreciated makes our jobs worthwhile.... More

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Robert who organised parking and a permit for us and a delicious hot chocolate! We had been upgraded to a lovely room which had everything we needed. Robert & Denise were really helpful and friendly. You receive personal attention but still retain your own space and privacy. What a great find! The... More

Thank you so much for the kind words. We use Suchard's in our hot chocolate, which is why it tastes so lovely. Thank you for mentioning it and if you're ever in the area, feel free to drop in and have one on us. We also bake our own cakes and there's a coffee and walnut cake by my side,... More

Thank you Paul, for leaving this review. Small and sweet, which is a phrase that could also apply to this hotel. I'm often baffled why the tower-block, chains are the default choice of the business traveller, when a small, indendent hotel like ourselves is often cheaper (rooms from £49.95 per night, including VAT and breakfast) and offer a much more... I booked a room for myself for one night and one for my parents for two nights and was told that to secure the rooms I should pay the first night for each room at that point and that payment for my parents second night would be taken on arrival. I paid for the rooms on my credit card and... More

Sadly, we don't always get it right and its everyone's right to have an opinion. In our defence, we did make a big effort here. We gave free coffee and cupcakes to the whole family on arrival, gave both rooms at a discounted rate and spent a long time having friendly chats we them, so we're surprised that this review... More

I love this hotel. It's a beautiful restored edwardian house. The staff and facilities are great and the location is hidden away in London's most beautiful corner. It is maybe two minutes walk away from the river thames and a shopping district in kingston. The train and bus are really handy and i am glad i discovered this little secret... More

What a lovely review and thanks so much for posting it. There is something secretive about our cozy little hotel, which is why we often get pop stars staying here (when recording at studious which are peppered down the nearby river). We pride ourselves on our discretion and making people feel welcome with our warm and honest approach. There are... More

We stayed for a few nights with our two small dogs who were made just as welcome as us! Character rooms and super clean - the staff couldn't have done more to help us out. Location is great, Kingston and all it has to offer is a stone's throw away and Bushey Park and Hampton Court (and the Palace) are... More

It's our view that if someone is nice enough to care for a dog, then they're the kind of guest that we'd like to stay. We remember these guests, and their dogs, with much affection and are hugely grateful for the review. It is true that our little village is a great place for foodies, with 47 restaurants within walking... More

A delight to find independent style in the midst of corporate competitors. We stayed here one night and loved it. The room was quirky and really nicely presented. Beautifully clean, and really good service. The best part was waking up to the smell of yummy toast from the breakfast room - really homely. I will definitely be back. Thank you

It's nice to have our independence singled out, as we are very proud of it. Our plucky little hotel has held its own for 26 years against the enslaught of huge corporate giants. It is heartening to know that there are some people out there who still appreciate the personal service and homey atmosphere that a small hotel can offer.... More

Stayed while visiting the National Physical Laboratory. 20 minute walk. Great location with a pedestrian shopping zone nearby, Hampton Court and grounds and River Thames.
