Stayed recently at this hotel. I can only say its a place to rest your head. It may be under refurbishment as the downstairs looks presentable, however the bedrooms are definately in a need of improvement. Old furniture and TV's, smelly towels - take your own. If you just need to be central and are prepared for a 2 ish... More

I was booked in here on business and had a bad feeling as soon as I drove up to the building! The outside was run down to say the least. I popped into the reception which looked ok. However once I got to my room I could not believe what I saw. I would like to swear but that would... More

despite its good location and fairly cheap prices the hotel is simply not suitable for staying with a family. Perhaps we were unfortunate with the room but the cleaning was very poor the bathroom was bad and the shower almost impossile to adjust. Same can be said for the heating as it was very cold and nothing could be done... More

What a terrible experience I was scared to allow my children to use the bathroom. In the end I decided that the amount of dirty may well help to build there emune systems. I was working locally and working long hours and I expected a good working shower how wrong was I a dribble of water slid down the shower... More

We had a 'red letter experience' voucher as a gift and Liongate was advertised as 'a charming experience for two'., great idea and we could 'do' Hampton Court at the same time ! Charming may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you arrive at this hotel, how the building is standing upright is beyond me! Front... More

Despite the reviews I booked this hotel because of its close location to Hampton Court, and I thought "Oh come on! Can it really be that bad?" Well, when it comes to the rooms in the mews building, the answer to that is a resounding "YES!" When we opened the door (to room 17), we were struck dumb. I generally... More

Amazing location for us because we were visiting Hampton Court Palace, this is the only nice thing i could say about this excuse of a hotel. Rude staff and dirty boiling hot rooms with a trickle for a shower. Wallpaper falling off the wall, couldn't open the windows to help with the heat problem. The whole hotel could do with... More

We stayed here in August whilst visiting Hampton Court Palace. I chose it for its great location and the fact it was advertised as reburbished. In fact the hotel website really really over plays it. On arrival we thought it had closed down! The building was beyond shabby and was an absolute eye sore. The front door was filthy and... More

Stayed the weekend just gone for 2 nights while I and my girlfriend visited Hampton Court (which by the way is a cracking day out that was thoroughly enjoyed). We arrived late on Friday night and even though I SPECIFICALLY asked for a room in the hotel not the Mews we were given Room 20 in the Mews. I asked... More

Number 20 the mews... Stay away. More like a stable for a horse. The smell of damp and paint coming off walls. Linen was clean. We had booked for 3 nights but we couldn't even stay for 1 night. I was offered another room on top floor but by time I got up there to see it I needed a... More
