We stayed at the Oldroyd after a day at the races. The location was perfect and the staff so helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and are great value for money. I would definitely stay there again!

I stayed here at very short notice whilst working a couple of night shifts close by.The owner got up extra early so he could have a full English waiting for me after finishing my night shift at 6am. Sleeping there during the day was no problem, very quiet. Highly recommended.

A real value for money B and B. Great staff, great rooms and great food at an extremely good price. All the satff were extremly helpful and accomodating, the rooms were extremly clean and we were served a woinderful breakfast in the morning. You cant go wrong with this place. This is my second stay at Oldroyd. As before (2011) the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped (more towels than I needed, extra cushions and chocolates as well as biscuits). Staff are friendly and welcoming, and there are flower tubs around the car park! Excellent.

Stayed her overnight having been to Uttoxeter races. The place is superbly located, 2 minutes walk from the railway station / racecourse and less than 5 minutes into the Town Centre. The staff / owner were extremely welcoming, the rooms spotless and well equipped and a decent breakfast. Great value, and would certainly return here when in Uttoxeter.
