Visited this hotel last week with an almost 4 year Thomas the Tank mad son! We stayed in a twin room which worked well as we had a bed each. The room was modern and clean. All the staff we encountered there were very friendly and helpful (we visited Cadbury World on our way home and the reception staff kindly... More

Stayed here with work. Overall its a very clean modern hotel. Rooms were spacious with modern decorations and a very comfy bed! Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only ate breakfast which was buffet style and good quality food Would like to back with the missus and children as a base for Drayton Manor theme park which is next door. More

Overall this is a nice, modern airy hotel and we found the staff to be pleasant and welcoming. However I must give a few tips! 1) dont buy any Thomas toys in the hotel (or Theme Park) gift shops - the prices are marked up by about 50%. For instance, their die cast Thomas train price is £10 - the... More

Booked a good rate for a package with park tickets with 2 interconnecting rooms for 2 adults and 3 kids. Arrived to find the car park was full and there is an overflow carpark but it was not obviously sign-posted. At check-in the receptionist was very helpful and ensured all our needs were met. Hotel facilities were good especially for... More

Currently staying at this hotel. Having read the previous reviews while in the car on the way here, I was a little nervous as to what to expect. All I can say is that the previous guests have either had a bed experience or are over picky! We arrived last night at 10:30pm the receptionist was most helpful and very... More

We stayed in a Thomas themed family room for two nights which included park tickets. The room was fantastic and the little touches around the hotel were great (such as the carousel in foyer and the wooden train sets - top tip for parents - make sure you have trains with you for kids to play on the sets) there... The welcome we got from the receptionist was the most underwhelming I have ever experienced. No warmth, rapport or eagerness to welcome us to the hotel. Absolutely no interest in our children. After driving over 200 miles to get there plus a ferry trip this was a very disappointing moment in our holiday. The room was ok but why does... More

We stayed at The drayton manor hotel on may 7th for one night. The receptionist booking us in was friendly and very welcoming. Our room was clean comfortable and fine for what we needed. We also found it to be very quiet. We were told that there were activities downstairs in the bar for the children but they turned out... More

Special treat for my 3 year old Grandson. April 28th2012 Arrived at the Hotel Midday on Saturday to collect our Tickets for the Thomas Land Park.. That was fine, I asked about the evening as on the website it said to check with reception regarding the Fat Controller and bedtime stories /activity’s etc. Firstly I was met with a blank... More
