Don't stop in the other hotel in this village. You will be disappointed and pay for it. This is a great pub with lovely food and all you need for a night away. More

We stayed here for a weekend which was lovely. The food is great if not a little expensive as is the beer/wine but the staff make up for it. They were amazing. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable although could have used at least 4 more pillows for the bed and the mattress left something to be... More

I have eaten here on several occasions over the last year, most recently last december and it is always very good. The menu is really varied and they have special theme nights and are reasonably priced too. More

We were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel so this B&B was the perfect place to stay for the night. £60 for a double room with private bathroom seemed a bargain and once we'd booked our room, lots of friends followed suit so there was quite a crowd of us which was nice. The booking process was super smooth.... More

Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for everything. Our B & B accommodation was clean but a bit tired. Breakfast good but not outstanding, let down by sliced bread and coffee, but we did enjoy the bacon. Restaurant and pub busy when we were there in the evening ...food was good. Draught beer well kept. Overall a good impression against what we... More

We dined here twice on Saturday. Lovely lunch, and dinner in the evening was superb, even though we arrived after service had finished. It was no trouble for the chef to offer us a small selection of dishes he would do for us. Best Carbonara I have ever tasted! Beautiful Rib-eye steak, perfectly cooked. Good quality beers and wines, and... More

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and was given a warm welcome, pub seemed very busy due to there being a wedding in the area, so was unable to find a free table to have a meal so went off up the road to another pub, we did have breakfast which was very good, as was our... More

I've stayed at the Unicorn a number of times on business - There is a good selection of food, with great steak and wine deals on Wednesday and Tapas on Tuesday. There's always a selection of real ales on tap - 2 regular (Pedigree and Bass) and 2 guests. Rooms are large, although slightly tired/dated but always clean and tidy.... More
