Really do not know why people are moaning about this place we found it to really good value. Went as a night away and had a dog which they couldnt do enough for him. The rooms are fine didnt have a problem with them - very clean and as a couple we liked the fact they were away from the... More

When I stay in hotels I try to pick hotels with a gym and a pool to give me something to do of an evening. I picked this place because it said it had a gym and a pool. It does, but it was the smallest pool I've ever seen and the gym was nothing more than a few low... More

If you paid top whack for this place you're out of your tree! They may provide clean sheets (for a price) but the rest of the bedding smells, the window frames are so rotten so you can't open them and - worst of all - there's mildew in corners and crannies. You're breathing this in while you sleep. Coupled with... More

A recent stay found clean bed linen and towels let down by tired and dismal furnishings. The lodges could do with a good clean. Given the price it was in no way comparable to hotels in the proce range for example Premier Inns. More

We were eventually giving a lovely room (the one advertised on the net) after complaining about the standard of the one we were giving at first (nothing near the one you can see on the internet and had no smoke detector - epic fail!) and one thing after another went in the new wrong. We had no working toaster, the... More

I was really worried when I read some of the reviews but.... We got there very early and were let into our rooms before 11 in the morning. There were 6 of us and they put us in 3 rooms next to each other in the same block. They smelt a bit musty and had obviously not been used recently.... More

Their webpage says that although they have a 2star rating they compare with some 4star hotels, however this cannot be true in any sense. The bar area stank of sewage and damp, the rooms were dark and the bed linen smelled awful. The swimming pool is supposed to be heated according to their website but it was icy cold. The... More

I discovered the hotel via the Internet, it was located near Middlemoor Waterpark and Bridgwater RFC and was perfect for our under 16’s rugby lads on tour. John and the staff from when I booked the group accommodation right through to us leaving were always happy to help us. They have lovely clean lodges as opposed to caravans. They have... More

We advised hotel that we would be there at 9pm and when arrived everything was shut and a note on the door telling us which lodge we were in. It was dark and no body around to show us where anything was. I think a band b would have been more welcoming. we made no use of the facilitites ,which... More
