Stayed here for one night and discovered we had found the best vegetarian lasagne ever! Very good value, the meal was beautifully served and piping hot! Well done. The room had a lovely view of the garden and was clean and comfortable, it was perhaps a little small but was excellent value. More

We had a wonderful night with family. Lovely atmosphere and food plentiful and very tasty. This Hotel/ Public House is an excellent place to visit. Child and dog friendly , everyone is welcome. We stayed here whilst walking St Oswald's Way and breaking off at Craster. There was little other choice for a one-night stay in a twin room but we weren't disappointed at all. Had a wonderful time at The Cottage yet again. The welcome we receive is always so genuine and warm from the Proprietors, Debs and Roy, and also from the Staff.
