Stayed at the Sunningdale again and now wont go anywhere else in th North East. its walking distance to the beach. great food, clean room and fantastic food. The quiet area and helpfull staff had our stay a fantastic experiance we will be coming again

The Northumberland Coast is stunning and this B&B is in a great location in the village of Bamburgh, complete with castle, beautiful beach, lots of restaurants and a wonderful pub. The photos of this hotel are decieveing. The roaring fire was not lit even when it was snowing outside. Our room was basic. Clean but paper was coming off the wall and it was tired looking. We have stayed here on a few occasions and have always had excellent, friendly service. The Hotel has a nice "homely" feel. Room was modern and clean with a nice shower room. Lovely view of the Castle. Will definitely return.
