We stayed at Waren on a cold weekend at the beginning of April testing out our new caravan. Site was well thought out and even gave us the chance to have an adult only pitc - we don't eat children -so we decided that we would stay on the general site. Pitch was spacious and it was very quiet -... More

Stayed at Waren Mill on a cold October weekend. The caravan was warm, and very clean. The furnishings and fittings are to a high standard. Due to its superb design and it has a more of a homely feel rather than staying in a caravan. Our caravan had an ensuite toilet in the double room, which relieves pressure on the... More

Stayed in a static caravan at Waren park, fantastic views from the top of the park overlooking Budle bay and in the distance Holy Island. The caravan was well equipped and very clean. It's a peaceful site and very friendly helpful staff. Only one downside to the parks facilities is the restaurant, it is very tired and dated and the... More

We stayed for 4 days in August in a tent - the site is very child friendly which is great. The kids would play in the centre of the site where there is a good playground - all the tents and caravans surround this area so very good to keep an eye on the kids. Toilets were a little grubby... More

We were lucky enough to stay in a friends static caravan and have had a super 3 day short break, we were blessed with super weather, but even on a cloudy day the views at this caravan and campsite are outstanding, very family friendly with play parks and a heated pool for the kids, and respectful drivers who take it... Well, the trips during the day were great. But everything in the campsite was generally awful. The showers and toilets need to be cleaned, it's muddy all year round and we got pitched in a bad area with noisy neighbours, and the music from the bar is too loud. It's a very small place and i do NOT recommend going... More

We stayed over the Jubilee weekend (June 2012). Can't fault this place at all! It is a great and very well equipped campsite, good facilities including family shower rooms and even a bath. Pool is heated so kids can swim even if the weather is cold (which it was)!! Great kids play park, cheap bar, food looked fantastic although we... More

We stayed in one of the 8 wigwams provided on this campsite last weekend (in april.) We were pleasantly surprised at how big the wigwam was, and the bed that you could make from the foam mattresses across the back of the wigwam was really big and quite comfortable. The wigwams have heating, a fridge, electricity and a electricity point,... More
