stopped at the flask inn in january for a 3 day break. There were 9 of us celebrating my 60th birthday, food was excelent service from nick, tracy and margaret was great they could not do enough for you. Will definately be going back. More

I was waiting for a friend and we decided to have a drink. Very friendly staff, food smelt wonderful. I hear it is now under new management as of middle December. I will definately go there again, it is worth stopping off whether your on your way to Whitby or Scarborough. More

We were camping at Grouse Hill campsite just across the road and visited The Flask Inn for Sunday dinner and a few drinks. The Flask Inn is a lovely warm friendly pub our meal was lovely and excellent value for money. A must for anyone staying in the area. More

Me and my wife stayed here on saturday and really enjoyed it ,perfect location for Whitby ,scarboro etc .Dave and Diane who run the Flask are lovely (and SuperLeeds fans aswell ) very helpful and the pub is spot on for a few drinks through the day oor in the evening .Breakfast in the morning was delicious and big enough... We did not stay at the flask inn but hired on of the statics on the park. The vans are excellent, clean modern and spacious with all the equipment you will need for a short stay. Each home has a flatscreen TV plus DVD (good for when it rains) they also do DVD hire for a reasonable £1 per night.... More

The second time I have eaten here and had an awful meal. Most of the menu is ready made and reheated. My daughter was told she could not have risotto without rocket, obviously reheated. I had the steak and kidney pie which was tasteless and came with the typical soggy pastry of being microwaved. My wife had the all day... More

Called in for a couple of pints with 6 adults and 11 kids. Sat outside and had the drinks. This is the way to enjoy this dreadful place. What must have been a beautiful moorland pub in the not too distant past is now a dump. On venturing into the gloomy interior the stench of deep fat friers welcomes you.... More
