unexpected need for overnight accommodation,so didn't know where to go, fantastic though, drinks in the bar, then off to a really comfortable, very clean, modern room, great night sleep, and to round it off a great full english breakfast, which kept us going all day. Have visited RichmOnd several times. Lovely tourist village in day a bit rougher at night . Hotel clean and rooms being renovated. Our room nice although very noisy due to live band until late and extremely lively locals. Staircase up to room contained veg piled up for restraunt and a bit shabby. Very friendly welcome and room was great, very comfortable and modern. Shower was not powerful enough for me, but small grumble. Food was great and no complaints about the breakfast, staff went out of their way to accommodate my requests. My annoying man Mr Rodgers! went for an army reunion and is looking forward to taking me next time! More
