We completely agree with all the previous comments. The owners obviously work very hard to maintain their thoroughly deserved rating on this site. A great deal of thought was evident in ensuring the rooms had everything one could want. Faultless. More

I discovered Mount Pleasant Farm on the internet three years ago and I have now booked our 6th holiday. We stay at High Barn which is up a farm track away from the main farm. The views are spectacular and the barn has all the home comforts you could wish for with a superb farmhouse kitchen. It is perfectly situated... More

After discovering "Mount Pleasant Farm" on the internet and reading all the comments, we found that our stay was most enjoyable and fully justified the choice. The accommodation was very comfortable, and all the "little" things expected in class hotels (though sometimes absent !!!) were there for our use. Each morning before touring this scenic part of the Country, we... More

We stayed at High Barn, a lovely 3 bed barn conversion. There was plenty of room for both families, including a spacious en-suite and a family bathroom with a deep bath. There was a brand new plasma tv with free view, and a wood burning fire which really made the cottage super cosy. The large farmhouse kitchen was perfect, complete... More

This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. Comfortable, cozy, and economical. It’s not often that you get all the three together. The farm is well located in idyllic country side, and there are beautiful views to take in just at the B&B doorstep. There is a pub in walk able distance and the village is... More

Having booked a stay last minute at Mount Pleasant three years ago, we could never suspect to be returning every year since then! The accomodation and atmosphere are just perfect. Clean, friendly and most important, not overdone. You know you're on a working farm, which for us is a holiday on itself, and you're very welcome to look around. Beeing... More

Having stayed previously at the farm as B & B guests, we returned as self caterers for a week in October 2011. The self catering accommodation was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The local farm shops and the Co-op in Richmond provided our food and drinks, with the local pub a good alternative. The location is good with... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Mount Pleasant. Can only describe it as perfect! Beautiful farmhouse and cottages (we stayed in the Bullpen with a four poster bed and two separate bedrooms so the children had their own room - both with drink facilities and televisions), so clean and private and just what we needed. Alison is a... More

Having stayed with Alison and Dirk on several occasions previously, I returned to this friendly and exceptionally well-run B&B in October knowing what to expect. The welcome on arrival is always very warm, and the well-appointed self-contained units which I have always stayed in, never fail to please. Comfortable beds, clean tidy bathroom and toilet facilities, tea and coffee available... More
