This was my third visit to the restaurant in 2 years, and the quality was constant. Very good choice of courses, which were well prepared and presented at reasonable prices. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Will be back again when in the area!

Stayed with a group on walking holiday. All staff friendly and helpful. Although a large group service still good and lovely food especially breakfast. Hotel beautifully decorated with lovely wallpaper. Check out ladies toilets ! Had a room at front which was lovely and very nice bathroom. Rooms at front noisy due to traffic but OK overnight. My wife and I ate at in the restaurant area and although we had to take a table near the kitchen the food and service certainly made up for our location. As we arrived there were people leaving saying it was full - good sign! We waited along with others until a table came available. It was worth the wait. We had the steak which was very good and excellent value.
