It is the third time we have visited and it seems even better every time. The rooms are well presented, comfortable and quiet. After a good night's sleep you have the breakfast you ordered the night before, be it the full English, the Chef's Special or your own choice. A touch of class in a lovely part of Yorkshire!

A most friendly and clean b&b. Great location and no problems parking when we went. Breakfast excellent and at the time of our stay the special was croissants that could be on man versus food! Very nicely decorated and well equipped room would recommend to anyone. If you are planning a short break to filey try this.

Took up the winter prices offer of 2 nights for £110, worth every penny. Friendly hosts, excellent room, spotlessly clean with an exceptionally comfy kingsize bed. Breakfast was great with local produce. Try the homemade malmalade and the honey from Rillington Fields.

We had not booked, but were given a wonderfully warm welcome. The room was beautifully furnished, with dressing gowns and slippers provided. Breakfast was superb - local products, homemade preserves and bread, and a wonderful fresh fruit salad. Would love to return for longer, and will recommend The Forge to everyone.
