I've stayed in Downs Guest House twice while visiting Sc*nthorpe, and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed by stay both times. The rooms are bright and airy, bursting with comfort. “Very Good Value for Money”

The proprietor goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, and the room is clean and comfortable. Shame it isn't en-suite, but, hey, for the price, it is excellent. Really good breakfast, made to your specification. He even obtained Lincolnshire sausages for me! Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are cosy and clean. The Main Town Centre and Train Station only a few minutes walk. There are plenty of takeaways within short walking distance and even a supermarket. The breakfast is a good way to start the day and is made to your preferences. Allan is a friendly host willing to offer travel and sight seeing advice.

The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. There is a lot of sightseeing within walking distance. The owner, Allan, is always willing to provide advice and recommendations on food and sights.
