We stayed at Old Guadaloupe Farm House for half-term (Grandparents, Mum, Dad and 2 children). The accommodation was fantastic, very spacious and well maintained. Each bedroom had an en-suite. The newly fitted kitchen was very well equipped and overlooked the stable yard. Also a room with a pool table and a very spacious lounge. The surroundings are lovely with beautiful... More

Spent a mid week break in this impressive farmhouse with my family . The house is so big, it accomodated our large group perfectly and allowed us all to have our own space too.The farmhouse is furnished to a very high standard, it is very homely and we all felt comfortable straight away. This place is amazing - Sue formerly used the farmhouse as a B&B but more recently has decided to rent it out as a holiday cottage. I stayed with a group of friends for a long weekend - Sue welcomed us with a ready warmed hot tub, immaculate rooms (with plush bath robes and slippers), a huge farmhouse kitchen with... More

Our first visit, and it will not be the last I hope. The cottage is so spacious, warm, light and airy. Hot tub is so large and it's nice to sit in there with a nice bottle of wine. Shame it was so cloudy, we couldn't see the stars. Bed was so comfy, and the kitchen has all you need,... More

My daughter and I stayed here for a really lazy and relaxing weekend. Sue, the hostess is very warm and welcoming. The cottage is a great mix of old beams and modern conveniences. Soft bathrobes and large bath towels add a touch of luxury. The hot tub is an added bonus, lovely to sip wine whilst watching the stars! Set... More

I've stayed in this fabulous cottage twice now and both times have been a fantastic experience. The location is easy to find with local amenities within about 2 miles. Melton Mowbray's a lovely town, and the Pie & Sausage shop is worth a visit! The setting is secluded and peaceful so you can enjoy the outside areas in privacy. The... More

Stayed in B&B with 2 other couples taking all the bedrooms. Lovely location on outskirts of Melton Mowbray. Lounge, kitchen and dining room all available to use by guests. We stayed in Room 1 which is a very large family room. This B&B represents great value and we had a lovely breakfast. Sue is a great host - would recommend. More
