We were invited as long time friends of one of the Bridal Couple. From the time we walked in, we were made to feel very welcome and totally at ease. The actual wedding was so meaningful and relaxed without losing any of the dignity. It was truly good
Excellent service, staff have amazing interpersonal skills, great breakfast and crest toothpaste. Good job guys!!

We stayed here in September, 2011 and very much wanted to return this coming September and stay a month or more so we could truly explore this area of the UK in depth. Unfortunately, though it is only April, we seem to be unable to be accomodated. Darn it!!!!!

We got married here and March and the day couldn't have gone better . The grounds and the hotel are beautiful and the service excellent. Jamie the wedding planner had everything under control and Dawn the restaurant manager deserves a special mention. I cannot recommend this hotel enough

We stayed at the Higher Trapp on for a valentines weekend break on the 11th of February and we were allocated room number 10. The hotel is set in a beautiful peaceful location.

We stayed at the Higher Trapp on Christmas Day 2011 and I would say it was just average, nothing particularly negative or positive to say about this one.
The hotel is set in a nice peaceful location. It's not particularly hard to find but it's further from the main road than you expect it to be.

We arrived on a cold, wet and windy night but the welcome could'nt have been warmer. Our room was first class with four poster, jacuzzi bath, wonderful views. Food in the bar/restaurant was very good in value and quality both at evening meal and at breakfast. A lovely period hotel with staff helpful and friendly
