You know what to expect, let's be fair. It's a HIE, so it's pretty standard fare. However, I will say that the staff are polite and helpful. The duty staff gave me excellent directions for a meal out. The room was clean and well-aired. It's never going to win awards for design, style or uniqueness, but frankly, who cares?

Arrived by M62 (still undergoing upgrade), departed by scenic route over the hills into the West Riding. Travelled around the area by coach - what a surprise the area turned out to be - well worth a visit. Room clean, shower room well designed. Quiet at night. Ask at reception about walking along the canal into the town.
