The building was old and dated and in need of some painting and general tidying. The receptionist was nice and friendly though. I know this is cheap accom but this room was dirty the bathroom fittings were broken, no plug in the sink, the tap ran all night couldnt stop it. The carpet was stained and dirty. I should have checked other reviews first but had to book in a hurry and regret it its awful please dont book it.

Quite simply the worst travelodge I have ever stayed in - or rather didn't stay in as I left and went elsewhere. Disgustingly filthy, Stained carpets and sofa bed. Smelly. Very dated and tatty deco. Whilst I appreciate that Travelodge is a budget hotel chain, this is the worst of the worst of places I have ever stayed. This hotel is a disaster area. 4 rooms in one night! Taps not working, heating not working, Sofa bed broken, No towels, no duvet, the list is endless. we stayed at the leigh delamere m4 travelodge on 24/08/12 the first thing we noticed when we unlocked the room was the smell of drains all the fittings were either broken or missing ,the mattress was totally knackered and the next morning our heads itched like crazy
