We have just returned from a really great weekend break, celebrating my husbands 40th birthday at the fishermans huts in Whitsable. The location is truely fantastic - right on the seafront. The actual hut (we had hut 6) are cute as can be - nicely refurbed & comfortable. They are of course a little snug...but that only adds to their... More

Stayed at Hut 7. Second time round, and bathroom had been renovated so very new. Was a bit worried as despite it being Easter it snowed! But heating was very effective, and it was very warm. Great location, and a bit different to a hotel room with a small kitchenette for some self catering (basic though!). Steep staircase to get... More

I booked 1 night in hut 5 for our first wedding anniversary - and it was wonderful! Very sweet converted hut, living space and kitchen area downstairs, and double bed and ensuite up. Check in was at The Hotel Continental, which is just 10 minutes walk down the beach and each hut has a parking space included right outside the... More

Had a lovely stay in Hut 1, wonderful large and comfy bed, very clean and modern. Breakfast at the hotel Continental was very good as well, unfortunately it was a very cold weekend for April but the room was lovely cosy and warm, a lovely weekend.

After calling up to book one night in the fisherman's hut I was very pleased with the telephone service I received from the manager Jamie. When we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and gave us clear detailed directions how to get to the huts. When we arrived at the hut my opinionated fiancé was gobsmacked, we both fell in... Stayed here with friends as a belated Christmas present. We had hut 9 our friends hut 8. Hut 9 was very smart being recently refurbished with a large flat screen tv downstairs two sofas and a small shower room. Upstairs was a large double bed, smaller tv, tea making facilities, microwave and a fridge containing milk water and juice. Just... More

Hut 9 was only finished from refubishment work at easter. Hut 8 is very similar in layout and has also only just been refurbished too. You can always specify the hut you want when you book. thanks james More

We stayed for one night in hut no.4 and absolutely loved it. We arrived a little early and hotel reception had trouble locating the key but they sat us down in the bar and offered us a couple of free drinks while one of the staff ran down to the huts to get a spare key - brilliant customer service.... My husband and I stayed for one night in Fisherman's Hut no. 14 and wished we had booked for longer! The hut is laid out over three floors with a compact living area on the ground floor complete with sofa, fridge, kettle and microwave. The second and third floors contain two cosy, double bedrooms and a well presented shower room.... More

We have just returned from a one night stay in Hut 7. The hut was lovely. It had clearly been recently updated and was very well appointed, though the cushions and bedspread were a little grubby. These though are very minor things and in no way impacted on our stay. Hut 7 has a nice shower room with double shower... More
