We went to this venue for a xmas party and overnight stay. The level of incompetence is very evident. A catalogue of errors and mistakes that upon complaint the staff found amusing. If you have reasonable standards and expect a fair level of service,this is not the place for you.

I didn't have high expectations of this place due to the "travelodge" references made in reviews (even the hotel's own website says they are like a travelodge!). We chose this hotel because it is located near a former home. The hotel building is located a short walk away from the restaurant, where we had a splendid breakfast. We especially enjoyed the rabbits and Canada geese occupying the grounds around the hotel, and the lovely sunset.

Great location with the accommodation a short distance from the main clubhouse. check-in, meals and bar in the main clubhouse. Bar closes when clubhouse closes unless a function on, so possibly no chance of a nightcap if ruturning late! Super menu, food & aspect.

The setting was perfect, the cost excellent and was ideally situated for a short stay and in our case an overnight prior to boarding a ferry to France. My wife and I stayed there for two nights and found it a very pleasant stay. I would certainly use it again should I have a need to visit that part of the country again.

stayed here 3 nights rooms not large but are clean and comfortable tv has good selection of chanels, breakfast is good and evening menu has a good choice and is of a good standard the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only down side to me as a solo female traveler is the walk back from the clubhouse... More
