Are you looking to return to an “unwrecked England”? Well, Water’s End is for you. No motorway drone, no fast food wrappers or “out-of-town” retail. Welcome to pre-War England. That is First War. If you want to avoid the office a mobile signal is, um, elusive. Can’t be bad! Magical birdsong, long vistas over the ancient Weald, windmills and hop... More

We were given a very warm welcome by Jill Bosch when we arrived. The setting is magnificent and the building and furnishings top notch. Jill made a booking for our evening meal at a local restaurant and we had a good long and enjoyable chinwag with her. Jill's breakfast menu was outstanding and the presentation exceeded our expectations. We would... More

What a lovely place. Host, Jill, can't do enough for you, and accomadation first class. breakfast will keep you going all day. there are several pubs in area for evening meals, the one's we tried were very good in both quality and value for money. If possible would have given a rating of 6 for this B+B.

From the moment we were greeted and shown to our room we loved the place. Hot tea and home made cake in the breakfast room overlooking the lake and back garden. Our room was large, airy and clean. Jill was very helpful with directions to neighbouring towns. Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit and a huge hot meal. Ww stayed for... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights here and were most impressed. Jill and several of her beautiful chickens greeted us upon arrival and within minutes we were enjoying a very welcome pot of tea and flapjacks, not in our room, but in the guest dining/ lounge area overlooking 43 acres of lush Kent countryside. Our beds were supremely... More

Wow! When booking online, you never can be sure what to expect. However, Waters End was incredible. As we pulled up, Jill greeted us and served tea on the back porch. We walked around the property ,which is gorgeous and remote. The room (Barn Room 2?) was perfect - the bathroom tile is heated from below, the room was spotless,... More

Stayed here for two nights with my mum, lovely room in the barn room 3 i think it was. Room perfect, breakfast lovely, surroundings amazing. Owner friendly. Would recommend . Its even better than it looks on the website. It is a drive away from main roads but that adds to the fun. I would return anytime.

My wife and I stayed here over our wedding anniversary, for one night, in the main house. We understand that this is unusual now, with most guests being accomodated in the other buildings, so we can only comment on our experience, which was excellent. Having passed the initiative test to find Standen Street and then the wooden Waters End sign... More

Websites, as we all know, can be deceiving. I always leave room in my mind for slight disappointments, even if I have consulted Tripadvisor beforehand! Water's End Farm has a really inviting website along with some very good reviews. Still, I like to be surprised and after an adventurous drive through narrow lanes, there it was! It surpassed all my... More
