The Lake Hotel is such a wonderful retreat in spectacular gardens, a credit to the owners. Excellent hotel in great surroundings, warm welcome, clean & comfortable bedrooms, and superb breakfast menu extremely well cooked. Staff very friendly. Hotel nicely situated for travel around the island. Would recommend my friends to experience it.

I first stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast when I was a child and found it quite by accident last year when I stayed with my daughter. We spent 4 nights at the Lake & really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely as were the grounds. The bedrooms were a little old fashioned but comfortable & clean. A beautiful Hotel, with large, beautifully furnished rooms. Our bedroom at the top of the stairs was lovely, roomy and had garden and sea views. A comfortable night's sleep and a great breakfast the next morning, which set us up for the day's travel.
