Frank & Clare (& Buster the Lab) were very friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. The room was large & well appointed with very nice decor. We had our evening meal there as well and the food was excellent.
The breakfast the following morning was lovely..... Quote from my Husband..."That's probably the most filling breakfast I have ever...

We made a return trip to Weobley having stayed in the attached cottage to this Hotel two years ago, we decided to lay a ghost to rest. Our previous stay was under the old management and I need say no more about that, judging by reviews made during that time. What I wanted you all to know is that the...

Having discovered the Red Lion by chance in June (when looking for somewhere to lunch in Weobley) we were so impressed by the warm welcome and superb food that we decided to book an extended weekend stay in August.
The Red Lion has a great ambience and the owners Clare and Frank are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much...

This visit was very much last minute, we found ourselves in the village and decided to stay! Unfortunately, there was a private dinner and so no evening meal, but the owner did offer us a steak if we would rather stay there than venture out. The breakfasts were outstanding: great food, beautifully presented in the fabulous surroundings of this ancient pub. We had two evening meals: one a buffet booked for a...

Having done the 3 mile Weobley circular walk with a pushchair and dog (!), we decided to call into the Red Lion for a pint and some lunch. Both dog and baby were welcomed, and whilst we were sipping our pints, they brought out a bowl of water for our dog.
We were pleased to find a very fresh menu,...

A very warm welcome from the new hostess followed by a pot of delicious coffee served with shortbread. We much enjoyed the hospitality of mine hosts whilst sipping an early evening aperitif before going out to meet friends elsewhere.
Our traditional and atmospheric bedroom was warm and comfortable and the breakfast was a delight to devour.
So good that we...

I have read all the reviews about the previous occupants, but personally, I thought that Dave and Mandy were a lovely couple. But wait, I'm writing this to draw your attention to an exciting new change at The Red Lion in Weobley.
Welcome, yes welcome to Clare and Frank Eckermann. They both arrived just before Christmas, and are warm ,friendly...
