I booked a superior room which was OK...nicle flat screen tV which had freeview channels. It was a large room which has recently been painted, but the fittings such lights and tables were worn. I have stayed in the executive rooms in the past which are faultless. Never had breakfast as i use the McDonlads just up the road.

Stayed 2 days and needed to be outside London. Staff were efficient and friendly, Hotel was better than basic but not luxurious but the price was very reasonable. Hemel Hempstead train station is less than 10 minutes away and you can reach London from the Hotel in under 40 minutes

Asked receptionist which of the two pubs across the road from the hotel was best for food, she was English so presumably local, but was unaware there were actually two pubs even though they could be clearly seen from reception! Stayed here to come and see our Cousins in berkhamsted, and was perfect only 5 minutes away from there home. Good location and we had a large family room which done the job for a nights sleep,
