I stay at this hotel regularly on business and have had no reason to fault it yet. Check in is always very easy and the room is spacious and clean with internet access etc. Breakfast is good with a good variety and the staff are always very pleasant. All in all this is a great place to stay if you... More

we chose the hotel for the good price £70 for b & b. We arrived in time for lunch, ordered 2 sandwiches and waited an hour...staff attentive etc but such a long wait! Then we went to our room which was a nice suprise as it opened onto the garden with french doors, the room itself was clean but tired... More

Stopped for 2 days/nights in feature room, four poster + lounge area, very good value. Breakfast had wide choice of options and food in restaurant in the evening was acceptable standard for a pub chain. All staff were helpful and very polite. Free WiFi available in room and internal areas of hotel in reasonable condition. Good base for the New... More

We stayed here for 2 nights over Easter weekend. The hotel itself is very clean and the food was very nice for pub food, especially the breakfast. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was a decent size, had a freeview TV, free Wi-Fi, ironing station, tea & coffee making facilities and a desk. The bed was... More

Just returned from a weekend break at St. Leonards. Could not find fault with the hotel at all. Both the receptionist and the waiting and bar staff are friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are a good size, and spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice in the dining room, and the breakfast is excellent. The decor outside is... More

We waited 1hour 15 minutes for our meal in the restaurant, we kept being informed by the staff that the meal would be coming in five minutes but needless to say it never arrived. The manager was hopeless, he kept blaming the staff for the problem but did nothing to help matters, Another party of 6 including two children confronted... More

Having just finished our Sunday lunch at this hotel, I am truly appalled by the drop in standards. It was never the quickest restaurant, but today the service was abysmal only surpassed by the poor quality of the food. Having eaten here several times over the last year it was always a fairly solid acceptable good vale lunch. Having complained,... More

We were really happy when we made our booking for a business trip and a extra night for pleasure, as we got NHS discount and save £70 on the initialy price of £89 per night. I was also not impressed that we were expected to pay extra to have shampoo and shower gel the bathroom. The room and bathroom were... More
