We had a two night stay in the Grundy Suite which was a loft suite. Asked for this room so we could have the extra space to relax when our three year old went to sleep at night. Suggestion for the room would be to have separate lighting for upstairs, even just a small lamp as when unturned lights on... More

This hotel is very modern cleans and spacious, the staff are very helpful and pleasant. My one and only complaint would be how hard it is to find, it's down a lane at the front and back, once found it won't be forgotten , well done

I really liked this hotel. The rooms were very cute and comfortable. The staff was really nice and accommodating. It's in the centre of Romsey, so there was a small walk to the overnight carpark, which cost about £4.50. I felt it was a bit overpriced, especially since our room didn't include breakfast, but I did really enjoy the stay... More

This hotel is exceptionally good - the staff are charming, courteous and helpful. We were very impressed with the brasserie - the food was of excellent quality and delicious. The menu, although not extensive, catered for all tastes - and cooked to order. Breakfast was of the highest quailty - a good start to the day. All in all, one... More

I stayed here over the May bank holiday mainly to see my son and his wife who got married in Romsey October 2012. I had a very pleasant room in the main building and the staff were courteous and helpful as they were last year. On Sunday my family (13 of us) and I met for lunch in the Brasserie.... More

We went to the Brasserie with friends and were suitably impressed by the really attractive dining room and good service from a charming Head Waiter. Food didn't quite match the prices though and the fish dishes were particularly small although delicious........definitely choose some side orders.

A good central hotel very stylish and a fab breakfast, car parking does not exist but there are plenty of local car parks only downside charges kick in at 830 am so you may need to jump out of bed and make sure you don't get a ticket! I stayed in room 401 it was very hot and I asked... More

Having enjoyed a a family wedding in Romsey last October, we decided (13 of us) to return for Sunday lunch on the May Day Bank holiday weekend, and were not disappointed. This was to celebrate my son's 30th birthday and also the 30th birthday of the bride from the October wedding Head waiter Tito was very efficient along with the... More

The decor within and outside is nice and it's in a good location. Wine selection isn't great and food is ok but quite pricey for what it is. Waiting staff can be a little overbearing however polite. Food took a while to clear away. The bar could do with a more cosy bar feel. Toilets were clean and well presented.... More

I often stay here on business. The rooms are lovely, sympathetically decorated to reflect the age and character of the building. Rooms very well furnished with adequate tea and coffee as well as free mineral water. Beds are extremely comfortable - one of the few hotels where i usually sleep well on the first night of a stay. Have never... More
