Good staff, friendly and helpful, food really good, worth a visit, the menu is varied and always cooked to perfection. I worked round the corner and spent many an evening there, also stayed there on the odd occasion

We had a fabulous Sunday lunch at this beautiful rural pub/restaurant. The food was excellent and or a standard far exceeding what you expect to be served in a pub. It was also incredible value for the high quality meal we were served. The staff were attentive and the decor perfect.

From check in to the time of check out I felt really welcome here. I stayed in a twin room, the room was lovely and clean with a nice old English feel to it. I stayed for one night in this traditional English pub/B&B. The room was good, clean and what would be expected from such an establishment. The choice of meals and ales was exellent and the breakfast first class.
