Great base for the next 6 months Just bought a business in the area and will be staying here every week Great place, clean, lots to do, food good, bars excellent One tip for them, make your wifi free!!! Looking forward to the pool opening
Stayed and played here for the second part of a four day golf weekend. What should be a great location and course is ruined by some very poor tee boxes, poor greens and very poor customer service from the guy in the golf shop. I think some customer service coaching wouldn't go a miss here! The Tee Boxes and Greens...

Just returned from a 3 day golfing weekend with a group of 14 guys. We all paid £209 for 3 rounds of golf plus 2 nights half board accommodation in the cheapie rooms. The hotel communal areas bars and leisure facilities are new and of 4 star quality which is good. What wasn't so great was the evening meal which...

We booked this hotel originally to stay in one of their Eco-Pods. Due to weather, we upgraded to the hotel - and we were so glad we did! Apparently the only bathroom facilities for the Eco-Pods are in the leisure club! That closes at 10pm - so what would we have done?
The service on reception all depended on which...

We have returned from a 2 night stay for a friends wedding.
The wedding was fantastic, the grounds, rooms and facilities are very pleasant. The wedding planner chap was an absolute star! The wedding ran smoothly, there was a few niggles but nothing that spoilt the day and if it wasn't for the events at check out they wouldn't have...

Stayed here for 3 nights for a local golf tour. Room was good size but hot. Rest of Hotel was bizarre, decked out in so many different styles it just looked a mess. Golf course, considering the weather and frequency of use, was very nice indeed.
The food, however, was the killer. We had booked through a golf travel agent...

I spent 3 days here and will definitely not be coming back. The rooms were clean but very basic. The food was what you would expect in a canteen, not a supposed top end hotel. Generally the staff were friendly with the exception of the golf staff who were all very rude and unwelcoming. It seemed as though it was...

Daughter got married here and many of us stayed for 2 nights, rooms were lovely, all the guests were very impressed with grounds and hotel. Wedding photos were amazing as the back drop of the golf course and woodlands was outstanding, the hotel took them off for photos on one of the golf carts and we were looked after all...
