We had booked a one night stay here to attend a wedding in Fareham, but I was quite concerned after reading some of the reviews on here. When we arrived there was just one man attending to the bar and the customers checking in, he was busy but polite. He showed us to our room, offered to carry our bags... More

We broke down on M27 and had to find somewhere to stay overnight near the RAC garage. We were greeted by a very friendly man who showed us to our room, which was very clean, a good size and had everything we needed - the bed was comfy too. All the communal areas were clean and inviting. We managed to... More

Stayed at this Hotel whilst visiting family in Fareham. Chose the Roundabout as it was within walking distance, but very dissapointed. We were shown to our "twin en-suite room" which was up about 5 flights of steps and through at least two doors. on carpet that was stripey, but the wrong way, making it difficult to see the edge of... It is called The Roundabout Hotel because it is literally situated beside a roundabout, therefore very noisy. The sink in the en suite was unusable because of the angle of the taps. The shower did not work properly, the cold water was not working which made having a shower rather dangerous - a risk of being scalded!! The bedrooms were... More

Travelling from Canada with two older teens can be costly so when I found this hotel I was very happy, stayed there March 28,2011 We had the upstairs family room. We were shown to our room by the receptionist. Beds are soo comfortable, crisp white linens and the bathroom nicely fitted out. The teens were very interested in the history... More

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now, and each time I have found it to be very pleasurable, with comfortable beds, a very high standard of cleanliness, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, I've always found them to be courteous and polite, fresh food from the restuarant cooked to order and to a high standard with... Stayed here in July, very long drive to get there and was attending a family wedding the following day. I can't comment on the food, we didn't stay to find out. After a very uncomfortable, cold and noisy night with little sleep, my family and I demanded our money back (first they agreed, then said no, then I kicked off... More

We spent 3 nights in this "hotel", we had the family room right at the top of the hotel. The beds were falling apart, the cushion came off the stool, the knobs came off practically every drawer. It obviously hadn't been cleaned very well as there were hairs in the bath and bits all over the carpet. Very tired furniture/beds/decor.... More

We do regret you didn't enjoy your stay on this occasion and have certainly taken steps since your stay back in August 2010 to rectify some of the issues well before the December date of this post. We have fully refurbished all of our rooms in the Autumn, as well as retrained and replaced some of the housekeeping team. We... More
