Stayed at the Swan as my daughter lives down in Borden, pleasant hotel staff vert welcoming. Hotel situated in the centre of Alton, good parking. Stayed in Standard room would upgrade if we stayed again, double bed comfortable but rather small. Breakfast very good and with good variety.

stayed at this hotel in july 2011 as a couple we were in a double room in what felt like the attic very small and compact not much of a view. But comfortable beds and the food on menu was very nice and different although service was slow. Overall nice but would only stay there in passing on a deal.

Have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at The Swan. The recent refurbishment has been undertaken to a high standard. The public rooms are nicely decorated as are the bedrooms.
