Booked in here by our corporate booking service, so nothing much I could do to avoid it.
Staff were variable quality; young lady on desk was very personable and helpful, but restaurant staff were in melt-down mode in the evening, and flapped big-time when asked why it was taking well over an hour for six steaks and one scampi dinner...

Lovely staff, excellent food ,spotless room, slightly dated look, but very good value,Beer in the little pub not too dear ,good atmosphere. Will go back for next years fishing show.Location for the airport is excellent.
Don't listen to the bad reviews - judge for yourself. Excellent value for money. Rooms good (a little too warm). Food excellent better than many other more expensive hotel in the area!!

My stay was for business. The hotel was clean enough, the staff very friendly and bar food ok. The room was comfortable, warm, good TV and great shower, but needed a small bit of maintenance in the bathroom. Over all OK, but nothing special.
If you are thinking of staying here only book it if you can't get in anywhere else in the area!!
I have stayed here on numerous occasions over the last five years and the only updates are the TV's in the rooms and a fresh lick of paint about 18months ago. Sadly the menu in the resturaunt hasn't changed nor...

Knew beforehand it wasnt going to be anything impressive, but I was wrong, it was impressive, impressively bad.
Staff need to sort themselves out, on arrival the receptionist could not have made it more obvious we were inconveniencing her by wanting to check in, it most be awful having to get up of your seat to book someone in! Incredibly...

Stayed 5 nights on business - seems very quiet & you do need a car as there is not a lot nearby but room was big, bed clean & comfy, nothing to fault the place & good value for money
