Booked two nights B&B over the phone weeks ago to attend wedding at nearby Berkeley Castle. No one in reception, wandered round the place at will and even inspected the grubby looking kitchen. We booked a room via the actual hotel as a stop off point on our way to Devon, having 2 young children we wanted to have a family room with 2 rooms. The room cost £90 for the room. This room had not been decorated at all, the rooms where large and the layout was ideal for what we wanted... More

We found the Old School House on late rooms and booked it because it sounded nice and romantic (countryside village, next door to Berkeley castle) near the Cotswolds. When we arrived, there was no one in reception despite ringing the bell for 20 minutes. In the end we telephoned the main number and the owner came down. The general impression... More
