The staff were friendly and helpful. Certainly dogs welcomed. Whole place shabby and tired looking. Needs complete refurbishment. Duvets would be better on beds than blankets and bedspreads. Brilliant location for the wedding I was attending literally round the corner at Clearwell Castle, and an excellent cooked breakfast in the restaurant included in the price. The room located in the annex was pretty basic, but at £65 a night for a double it was good value.

Enjoyed a pleasant couple of days with our friends. Very comfortable beds, and spacious rooms in the annex.
