Friendly Hostess Comfortable room If you go, you must visit George & Rose at The Stag down the road. Only 2 things that weren't perfect and neither Clare's fault......................very poor mobile connectivity and slow internet access

This is a gem of a B&B. We were attending a wedding in High Easter and couldn't find any hotels or B&B's that had particularly good reviews in the area. We found this more by chance than anything else - and are we glad we did! It was beautifully clean, the beds were really comfortable and it was lovely and... More

This is just to reiterate what all the other reviews have said - this is a gem of a B and B. Perhaps most importantly the person running it has the best type of 'hotel' attitude and experience and so everything is to the standard you'd expect in a boutique hotel but without the price tag. Excellent beds, linens, room... More

Escaped to this lovely little bolt hole for some respite from building work being caried out to the house next door as a last minute thing and what a treat it was. Clare is a lovely hostess, the room was a delight and visited the local Thai Restaurant Indo Chine on her recommendation which was most excellent. The Rosslyn is... More

We stumbled on it by chance, we found a fantastic place to stay. I don't know where to start! The room we stayed in (a double on the ground floor) had amazing furniture, so tasteful and elegant. The carpet was spotless, which is saying something as it was a light cream colour. The bathroom was something you would find in... More

We stayed one night in Roslyns, as we had a morning flight from Stansted the following day. Roslyns is in a small, quiet village about 10 minutes drive from the airport. The owners Clare and Pete are friendly and helpful, and happy to book taxis and recommend places to eat nearby. The room and ensuite bathroom were spotlessly clean and... More

Top quality B&B accommodation with friendly owners gave us just what we needed when attending a local wedding. Fully endorse the other good reviews - book with confidence!

The old school house is a great find in a beautiful part of the world. Lovely comfortable bedroom with thoughtful touches. Roslyn and husband Pete were extremely hospitable, awesome cooked breakfast in a magnificent kitchen, very homely and excellent value. We shall return.

I stayed here out of convenience, as a friend was getting married in the village. However, I have located a true gem. The rooms are better than some of the big brand 5 star hotels I have stayed in [large comfy beds etc]. The breakfast is most certainly one of the best English breakfasts I've had the pleasure of eating.... More
